I worked on this Project with Scott Zenteno and Marie Angelone. We were given a script (From writer Johnny Hartman) and we had to design anything we wanted from that script. Here was my segment of the project.

Project Pacify
This was a joint project between Creative ID and Advanced Perspective to create a perfect Utopian city with dark undertones.
For the final illustration, I wanted the first read to be the clean white Utopian city. Then, almost immediately, you see the look of anxiety on the woman's face, indicating that something isn't right. As you continue to explore the composition, the baby hidden under her robes, the propaganda signs, and the man pointing at her all reveal that perhaps the society isn't as perfect as it would like you to believe.

Indiana Jones - Blimp
This blimp belongs to a devious treasure hunter in the world of Indiana Jones. He favors India, but travels all of the middle east and stores and displays his massive collection of valuables in his luxurious airship. When he invites Indie aboard, our hero quickly realizes this man is no hero.
I wanted to create a sense of overwhelming luxury in the airship. Everything is of the highest caliber, with hand stitched patterns, carved wood, and the most expensive materials on everything. However, nothing matches, or goes together. It is as if the luxury assaults your senses - the first clue that the enigmatic treasure hunter may not be what he seems.

Invaders!
These concepts were part of a project I did last term centering around two grade school boys in the 50s, and an alien invasion.
